Well the last two auctions I posted about came and went with not one bid. With this economy its not too surprising.

However Baldberry has re-listed his Gold Dusty, but this time it's a buy now only auction with a purchase price of yet again $1500. Here is the current listing link.

There was an auction back on Nov 11, 2009 for a Gold Dusty that had a starting bid of $1.99 with a reserve. The reserve was never met and bidding stopped at $132.50. Granted this auction was not as complete as Berry's but yet it was still a Gold Dusty. Just goes to show you people still aren't ready to spend the high price for this car just yet. I really want the gold dusty car because I need that one,hope 2001, promise 2006, courage 2007, all the victor e. vans except the giants one, davey driver, taylor taxi, icon car and the pull back tony turbo keychain HOPE I GET THEM ALL!

I am looking for one of the Chevron Autopia Playmats. Anyone know where I can find one? They haven't been on the car site for a few years, and never see them on eBay. Are they still being made?

Somebody just listed a velvet bag for the Dusty Car on eBay. wonder what that will sell for?

Everyone says the Gold Dusty's are going for $2000-$5000, I see that a Gold Dusty just sold on eBay for $771.00!

Has the value of these cars dropped ? Or did this buyer get lucky ?

Just be patient. I bought a Gold Dusty on ebay end of June 07, and I see there's one up now. Eventually another will be listed. I am celebrating because I now have a 100% complete collection!

People can always find great car deals on eBay. Though some seller do not intend to really sell their item and just wanted to find out how far their item would go.

It looks like the reserve price has been met. I wonder how far it will go now.

I think the seller just knows how much it's really worth! Afterall the last one sold for over $2000.

After watching it on ebay for a while, I realized that the only reason the price is up to $1425.00 is that the bidder was trying to find out what the reserve was. The reserve was still not met. I believe that the seller has no intentions of selling the car and is just curious how much people would really pay for it.
