Chevron Cars on eBay

eBay.com is the largest online auction site in the world. It serves as a great marketplace for individuals to auction off and buy goods. eBay is also a great place to locate rare items that are hard to find.

Due to the great demand for Chevron Cars, many collectors use eBay to find the toy cars that they want to add to their collection. Currently, there are about 117 Chevron Cars listed for sale on eBay. Many of the Chevron Cars on eBay are Special Edition Breast Cancer Awareness Cars, Retired Cars and Out of Stock Cars. Although some opening bids start as low as $.99, we’ve seen some Chevron Cars sell for thousands of dollars. A recent auction for the exclusive Autopia Gold Dusty Car sold for $2,146.21 with 41 bids. You can view the Gold Dusty eBay listing here (screen capture of original eBay page): Gold Dusty sold on eBay.

If you want to start a collection or give your current collection a boost, it is good to look for ‘lots’ or 'bundles' of cars. limited-bundleAs with all online auctions, it can be difficult to verify the authenticity of an item. To avoid ‘fakes’ always do your research, and be sure to ask the seller questions.

The Retired, Special Edition and Limited Edition Cars will never be made again once they're sold out. The good news is that several of the out of stock cars will be produced this Summer, so get ready to complete your collection. If you want to be notified about new products and back in stock items be sure you sign up for the Chevron Cars Newsletter.

In the meantime, if you are looking for a specific car to add to your collection, just go to eBay and type Chevron and the name of the car in the search box (such as: Chevron Patty).

Each December in the early 1900's Chevron put out 2 different models autos and trucks. They were made by a German company. I am wondering if anyone has any information on these classics. They are still in their orginal boxes.

This is a good chance for the collectors to complete their collection. We can now search for the type / model of the car.

I found my Gold Dusty with the velvet bag on Ebay a few months back - for a "buy it now" price of about $25, with all four of the additional Autopia cars included. I checked every day for over a year because I knew I would find a great bargain, but paying $5 for the Gold Dusty was more of a bargain than I expected!
I have all of the cars besides Travis Tanker and Cary Carrier because I think they are too large. The most I paid for a car was $30 for Davey Driver, and Danni Driver was included.

Yes that is true that eBay is a great place to find great items that are hard to find. Searches varies from clothes, furnitures and even bargains. Lots of things can be found there, and every one who wants a particular item have the chance to fight for it. :-P

Well Chevron Car Fans you missed it. I just purchased a Gold Dusty on Ebay~ A bit less than the $2146 from the last time up. The bidding started at $10. and finshed at $1205 on March 24, 2007. I now have a complete collection with all the cars in original packaging and quite a few extra for the kids to play with. As for your question Jim from March 1st, my collection cost me over $2100. Most I was able to pick up at the local Chevron from aprox $9.00 to $12.00 each ($32.00 for Travis Tanker) but the Hope series and Patty Patrol cost about $40 each on eBay. Now I have to get with my insurance agent to insure this collection. Hope this helps.

I once purchased a Hope 2002 on eBay
with my mom. We also bid on a Davey
Driver, but lost. I hope that eBay
will later help me get the final cars
I need for my collection, Hope(2001),
Gold Dusty, Davey Driver, and Brent Blizzard (And if you count her as a separate car, Wendy Wagon With Eyelashes.).

I've purchased many of my Chevron Cars on eBay, there are some great finds! I have been collecting for years and love all of my cars. I'm about three cars short of a full collection, but I do have all of the Breast Cancer Awareness cars as well as the Gold Dusty in the velvet bag.

As far as we know, we now have every item made under the Chevron Cars merchandise. This includes a watch or two and what appear to be rather limited edition Coca Cola glasses featuring 4 of the earlier models of Chevron Cars. We do not have a Gold Dusty......drats! What we are wondering from those of you who are serious collectors and e-Bayerz, if we were to put the entire collection up for sale, what in the world might be a realistic price? We have tried to research but it almost makes the eyes blind to search e-bay for some kind of average or norm and takes hours! lol

Thanks much.

I think it is a great idea to find Chevron Cars on eBay that are out-of-stock.
