Mark's Car Idea

Annie Animal CareA very cool new car idea comes from Mark. Annie Animal Care is the perfect vehicle to carry your favorite pets in style and comfort.

Mark writes, "Annie Animal Care is Sally Schoolbus' cousin. She comes with a dog, cat, and bone. Her eyes move side to side, all doors open, side mirrors work, the roof of the trailer opens, and the tire treads are pet themed. In the trailer you can put a small animal like a crab or bug. Annie is as long as Sally Schoolbus, and tall as Cary Carrier's cab."

Best of all, Mark has thought of all the important details. The roof flips open to place animals, and Annie Animal Care is fully equipped with side vents so that they can breathe. (Click on the drawing to see the special details).

Wow Mark, we can tell that you truly love animals! We'd love to see your idea turn into reality and thank you for sharing this precious drawing with our many blog readers.

Do Chevron toy cars contain lead based paint?

all-50-toy-carsWith all the recalls due to lead paint, many of you have written in about this topic. We appreciate your concern for saftey.

No, lead based paint is not used in the production of Chevron toy cars. All pigments used in the production of the toy cars are tested for lead before and after they are used.

**50-car animation courtesy of one of our collectors, Sasha. Thanks Sasha!

LA Lakers Victor E Van News

lakers

We have an exclusive photo of the Los Angeles Lakers Victor E Van to show you. LA Lakers fans will be able to show their pride for their favorite basketball team because Victor E Van comes complete with team logo stickers for your very own fan van!

The LA Lakers Victor Van is scheduled to be released in the first quarter of 2008. It will only be available at select Chevron Stations in Southern California and will not available for purchase on the Chevroncars.com website.

We understand your disappointment at not being able to purchase the Laker's, A's and Giant's Victor E Vans on the website, but the MLB's (Major League Baseball) and the NBA’s (National Basketball Association) contractual requirements restrict the sale of these cars to a very specific marketing territory. We are legally bound to limit sales to that area.

Where to Find Out of Stock Victor E Vans

victors

We are very pleased to see how many dedicated collectors of the Chevron Toy Cars we have. We only received a limited number of each Victor E Van Sports Edition Cars on the website and they sold out shortly after being offered on the site in early September.

In the meantime, you may be able to find the out of stock cars at an online auction site such as eBay. Just type Chevron and the name of the car in the search box (such as: Chevron Victor E Van). We provide this link as a courtesy only. We're not associated with any eBay sellers, so we can't guarantee quality of service or merchandise purchased there.

chevron carsSome of the Chevron stations may still have the Victor E Vans still in stock. Use this handy station finder to find one closest to you. Not all stations carry them so remember to call first.

The best way to find out about new cars and back in stock cars is to keep an eye on the free email newsletter where we announce all the news and special offers about the Chevron Cars. If you're not yet a subscriber, sign up for the free newsletter today.

Update 10/2007: Unfortunately, we just got word in that the Victor E Vans will be not available again on the website until Summer 2008.
