New Chevron Cars?

Riley Roadster

A lot of you - hundreds in fact - have been asking whether there will be new Chevron Cars this year and whether Chevron is planning to continue manufacturing new Chevron Cars. Some of you have even been wondering whether it makes sense to go on collecting Chevron Cars.

We are delighted to let you know that there will be new cars this year and next and Chevron remains committed to these popular and fun products collected by young and old alike.

In the fall of 2008 we expect a new series of sports Victor E. Vans. Some but not all of these cars will be available on the website. We apologize for the one or two Victor E. Vans that will not be available but this is due to contractual reasons we have no control over. Rest assured that most of the new sports Victor E. Vans will become available on the site, in limited quantities. We expect a new Breast Cancer Awareness car this fall as well.

For the holidays we are looking forward to a brand new Chevron Car, one of the best ever and one thousands of you have been requesting for years. Stay tuned, it will be fabulous.

Finally, we hope that certain out-of-stock cars will be brought back into stock this year or next, although nothing is firm yet. The best way to remain informed about new cars is to check this blog, or subscribe to our newsletter at http://www.chevroncars.com/user/newsletter_subscribe.php

When you restart making the regular cars, we are still wanting to see something to honor the fire dept. Maybe a fire chief's car. ans maybe a little mail truck could be a remastered freddy mudster!

[Note: Stay tuned this fall . . ..]

We have every single Chevron car except Gold Dusty... and duplicates of 5 (my son wants his own collection).

Anyway, we're hoping the new Chevron car is one of the following: (or all of them)

-Ambulance (w/stretcher)
-Firetruck
-Mail truck
-Garbage truck (w/trash can)
-Dump truck (w/shovel)
-UPS/FedEX type freight diesel (w/boxes to go in the roll-up back)

Please let us know soon!

On a Chevron billboard, what looked like an SUV, blue with design on side--is this new car. I hope so it is really cute.

I think they should make a firetruck too. Also make another tow truck like a cousin for Trevor.

All of the cars are fun to collect. Also fun for children to play with. I only collect the the regular cars, nothing different. Do not want Disney's or team cars or key chains. Do have the two small ones in one box style, would rather not have them make new ones of this style. Look forward to the promised new vehicle.

I have all but one of the Victor E. Vans and all the others but the Gold Dusty. I am tossed up with the team vans idea. I want to collect all the cars. I have kept up with all the new arrivals but being unable to collect all at my local Chevron station has forced a lot of us to use other means such as Ebay to collect the cars we cannot find anywhere else. Cost is then a factor. The local fans of certain teams want the cars I can understand but I feel that only cars that can be sold on the website should be produced so our collections can be complete. I will still strive to purchase all the new additions but it is not quite as much fun. My grandson and I have gone hunting for the new cars now for a couple of years and it is really great to go and get the car and let him get his own.

I love the idea of a fire truck, and ambulance, a real looking Suburban, and maybe a Christmas car.

I have been buying 7 of everything for years to help my grand children keep up with their collections.

I love these cars, and so do all of the children who come to my home and play with them.

Seriously, you don't have to collect all of them--I just want one--the ASU Victor E. Van because I am an alumni and I do love sports. Maybe these are an avenue for others to get into the craze and not just have them be for a small group of collectors!

I agree with billabong, the Victor E. Vans are pointless!

Great point dutch

Wow! Someone has issues. My husband is a firefighter and I can tell you that people are always glad to see that big red truck coming to the rescue. If Chevron creates a firetruck they will sell tons because every fireman will want one for their kids - I will buy two for my collection. I'm not a sports fan at all but I have all of the Victor E. Vans (my least favorite car by far). I also have two police cars. They are too cute. If you don't like a particular vehicle, don't buy it - just don't force your opinion on everyone else.

Happy Fourth of July to everyone!

Why get all emotional over a firetruck? If you don't want it don't buy it, but don't whine about not completing your collection. The fact is firemen and their firetrucks save thousands of lives every year from the tragedy of fires. At the risk of their own lives. They aren't the source of those fires.

I would LOVE a Chevron Cars firetruck!

What does finding a spotted leopard have to do with Chevron Cars, Carmen?

  - Posted By: Erick on June 27, 2008

It's some kind of a big truck. I hope it is another semi truck!

I do not like the idea of a fire truck at ALL! I have really bad memories of firetrucks and I would never buy one, and wouldn't be able to complete my collection. Every time I would look at it I would think about the smoke. The smoke that is in my dreams and will haunt me forever. And of course the firetruck would be smiling, like all of the Chevron cars do, when others are crying, and praying that they'll survive. What's there to smile about when loved ones are going up in flames? I personally don't think that there is anything funny about that at all. I know that most people want to see a Chevron firetruck in stores, but please, you can't do this. The police car was bad enough. Chevron cannot create a firetruck. Even if I didn't buy one myself, someone would buy one for me anyway, and it would haunt me forever. PLEASE don't sell these horrible vehicles online, in stores, or anywhere in the United States. Thank you.

Sasha-
That was Travis Tanker.
I hope its a firetruck, an ambulance or Santas car!!!

Christin Christmas! i like the sound of that!

  - Posted By: bilabong on June 25, 2008

I think these Victor e Vans are pointless they're just Maria Mini Van in different colors!

  - Posted By: bilabong on June 23, 2008

Oh PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE be a firetruck for Christmas!!!
The mystery picture of what looks like the cab part of a diesel truck looks suspiciously like a fire truck to me.
As for the Victory E Vans, there is always EBay, although I would prefer not to have to bother with that. Oh, well, if I can have a firetruck all is forgiven!

I hope the new car is a fire truck.

They said a new car would come out around Christmas (A.K.A. the holidays).

I love having the opportunity to have a "mania" about the Chevron Toy Cars. However, it is beginning to seem that we are being taken advantage of with the Victor E Vans. It is not fun with the prospect of not being able to keep my collection complete due to financial burdens.

The marketing of the cars should be something we all can take advantage of not being taken advantage of.

That's INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
